Spring and Summer are at the height of the dolphin season. Dolphins (sometimes known as Dorado or Mahi-mahi) come to us in abundant numbers and often travel in large schools. Seeing the large heads of a male dolphin, called a “Slammer,” streaking across the wake to strike a bait will certainly get your blood pumping.
The “Schoolie” dolphin are no slouches either on spinning rods in a feeding frenzy, with sometimes six or eight fish hooked up at once, in seemingly endless supply. Throw in a few Wahoos, Blackfin Tuna, Amberjack, or an occasional Blue Marlin, and you have the essence of our summertime offshore fishing.
If your group needs more than one boat, we can arrange charters for as many boats as you need. Or, if you would like to arrange a split charter with more fishing enthusiasts, feel free to view open split charter opportunities here.
