Tarpon and Shark Fishing at Robbie's

Besides feeding tarpon at Robbie's of Islamorada, you can also go out and catch one yourself! Some of the best Tarpon fishing in the world is right here during the warmer months: April through October. The fish will average in size around 80 pounds to 150 pounds. They are extremely active and will leap as high as 6 to 10 feet out of the water! Be sure to bring your camera because these Silver Kings will put on quite a show!

While you're out Tarpon fishing don't be surprised if you hook up on one of many different kinds of sharks. There is no telling what kind but you are likely to catch a Lemon, Nurse, or even a Black Tip Shark.
